I have a passion for painting, and a deep love for animals. My husband and I have been rescuing ex racing greyhounds for years. I put this passion into each and every pet portrait. Not only do I capture the likeness... but I will also capture the spirit and essence of your cherished pet.
I have painted since I was a child, and I chose art as my career. Upon graduating college with a degree in art, I started as a graphic designer, then a jewelry artist...all the while including time to paint.
I hope that you will allow me the pleasure of painting a beautiful portrait of your pet.
To get started you can view more Pet Portraits to learn about sizes and pricing. Once you've commissioned Arlene to paint your pet, you will receive email instructions explaining how to upload your pet photos to be used as the model for your painting. If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Arlene’s years as a graphic designer have contributed greatly to her unique sense of design.
Mixed metals add texture, color and balance to her jewelry. She distinguishes herself as a “Jewelry Artist”, not a jeweler. A jewelry artist takes more chances. “We’re freer with our designs, use of color and materials”.
Her works have won a number of awards, and can be seen at many galleries across the country, and at a number of fine art and fine craft shows.
Arlene’s work is one-of-a-kind artwear.
